I was very fortunate to meet President Clinton after his speech to our trade association.
I mentioned to him that Chelsea had bought from us the gift she gave him and Hilary for their 25th Wedding anniversary gift! Immediately, he asked me if I mean the silver vase. He told me that every day he wakes up at home and goes out of his bedroom and sees the Italian silver vase every day. And every day he sees it, he smiles and thinks of his daughter Chelsea! The President told me how much it gives him pleasure!
It was so wonderful and generous of him to share this with me! It just goes to show that gifts have the power to give and keep giving great pleasure. Gifts can immediately conjure up wonderful memories and associations.
